Former South Lexington player, Anderson Miller, was selected in the third round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft on Tuesday, 6/09.  Miller, a power hitting outfielder from Western Kentucky University, was chosen by the Kansas City Royals with the 98th overall pick.

Fittingly, Miller also played for the Royals (2003-2007) at SLYB and was a starter on both the 2007 South Lexington Cal Ripken 12U World Series championship team and the 2004 10U World Series runner-up squad.

Anderson will be playing right here in town with the KC Royals' Class-A Affiliate, Lexington Legends - view his WKYT article/video for more information - GO SLYB !!!
